Why MIND YOUR KIDS?<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

December always carries something special. In the eyes of children, everything becomes bigger, more colorful and warmer. A smile is born more easily, and eyes shine as if they reflect the lights of Santa Claus's sleigh. And that's exactly why we at Mind Yourself have decided that December becomes MIND YOUR KIDS<\/strong> \u2013 a month in which the focus is not only on the children around us, but also on the child we all still carry inside us. Because we were all children once. We all had dreams. And we all still carry that little being that sometimes quietly asks us: "What kind of person have you become?"\u201e<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My story: I haven't fulfilled myself as a parent. At least not yet.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I'm not a father. I haven't fulfilled myself as a parent \u2013 at least not yet. Sometimes I wonder if maybe it's too late, even though people always say, "It's never too late." I don't know... What would it be like to come to a parent-teacher conference at 55? Maybe it's unusual. Maybe it's cute. Maybe it's just my style. Because honestly, my youthful spirit often surprises even me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And even though I don't have a child of my own, I grew up like a child. I learned a lot from my parents, friends, mentors, clients, and life itself. School taught me theory, but life taught me life. Today, through working with thousands of people, I see one thing crystal clear: the best leaders become those who don't forget the child within.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The messages I tell leaders every day \u2013 and they\u2019re even more valid for children<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In workshops, I often ask participants: \u201eWhat message would you like your children to hear from you?\u201c When someone tells me that something is impossible, I always ask them: \u201eWould you like your child to believe that things are impossible?\u201c At that moment, everything changes. The deepest instinct awakens \u2013 the one that wants the child to believe in their strength, their possibilities, and their future successes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That's why this December our communication is largely focused on one question: \u201cAre you the leader your child deserves?\u201d<\/strong>
It's not a criticism. It's an invitation. It's a mirror. Children don't listen to what we say; children absorb what we are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If we want to be leaders in business, let's start by being leaders to the children. To the ones we raise. To the ones we meet. To the ones who watch us from the outside. And to the ones who still live inside us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The other half of this blog's heart: children who won't get a gift<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

But there is another side to December. For many, it is the most joyful time of the year, but for some, it is the most difficult. That's why this year we decided to do something that we deeply feel is part of our values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We decided to give 10 children whose parents' circumstances do not allow them to receive a Christmas present this year. Maybe they don't have the means. Maybe they are in the middle of a struggle with something bigger than themselves. Maybe their lives have become more important to them than anything material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyone who wants to can nominate a child for whom a gift would mean the world.
It is enough to send the proposal, completely confidentially, to info@mindyourself.hr<\/a><\/strong>. In your message, please provide basic information about the child you are nominating and the reason why you believe that child should receive a gift on our behalf and yours. You should also include how we can reach the child \u2014 the parent or guardian's contact information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We're not publishing names. We're not publishing photos. Our priority is to protect children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mind Yourself team \u2013 will choose ten children for whom we will try to brighten up December. These are exclusively private funds, a small contribution and a way of gratitude. This is the first year, but I believe that the next one will be even bigger. Children deserve a gift not because of its value alone, but because through it they feel seen. And every child in the world deserves to feel seen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally: a message to every leader, every parent, and every human being<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Be the leader your child deserves.
If you don't have a child - be a leader to the child you once were.
Be a leader who believes in possibilities, in goodness and in the beauty of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And this December, together, let's say: MIND YOUR KIDS.<\/strong>
Because children are our present \u2013 not just our future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
